Our first-ever Pant for the Pantry 5K to support the New Lenox Township Food Pantry was amazing -- our goal was to have at least 150 runners and walkers - and we had 301! The help and support we received from community members and local businesses, along with our own hard-working staff led by race director Gloria Olson, allowed us to present the New Lenox Food Pantry with a truckload of donated food and a check for $$10,000.00. We plan to make our 5k an annual event!

Thanks to our communities and our hard-working staff, our 4th annual Family Fun Days were a huge hit! We served over 1800 FREE Max's Red Hots hot dogs, 2200 snow cones and hundred of bags of popcorn. Jim Nesci and his Cold-Blooded Creatures were there to provide thrilling reptile encounters and Sean Murphy Racing brought a fabulous new racing simulator. We also had Brian Janky with caricature sketches and face painters to make the day extra special.

Old Plank Trail Community Bank's Vice President Andrea Justin and President Paul Slade present a check to the South Suburban Special Recreation Association. We are proud to provide financial support and to be the bank of the SSSRA, which is organized to provide individuals with disabilities or special needs the opportunity to be involved in year-round recreation.

Our 2nd Annual Ladies Night Out was a great success -- 28 local vendors participated and more than 90 women attended! The vendors offered a wide variety of items, from organic personal care and home cleaning products to crafts including handmade cards and custom jewelry. We also had healthy food products, candles, purses, cosmetics and a free chair massage, plus free refreshments! It all added up to a truly wonderful evening.

Commercial Banking Officer Brett Davis presents our check to Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center. Aunt Martha's provides comprehensive health and social services to family members throughout Illinois, including locations in Will, Kankakee and Cook counties.
